I’m inSelah
Hebrew for pause
To pause. To breathe.
To remember who God is.
Pausar. Respirar. Recordar quién es Dios.
In the Psalms, selah marks a moment to stop and respond to God with trust and praise. That’s the heart of our church: a people who find rest in Jesus and are formed by him.
Jesus is forming a people in San Diego, shaped by his word, rooted in one another, and sent into every corner of our city. Selah is a place to slow down and let him do that work in us.
This season
We’re building
the team.
Right now Selah is in a season of preparation. Instead of weekly Sunday services, we’re gathering a launch team, praying together, and hosting events across the city.
Nothing here is finished yet. If you join now, you get to help shape what this church becomes.

Meet our pastor
Hello, we’re the
Hernandez family.
We moved to San Diego to plant Selah Church, a community being shaped by Jesus, together. We believe Jesus is in the business of forming people, not just saving them. That formation happens in community, in scripture, and in ordinary life together.
We’d love to meet you, hear your story, and help you take your next step with Jesus.
